*runs in really quickly* Lookie what I discovered the other day while I was playing! Sorry, its exciting to me since i never knew about it.

Drag A Pattern. Sorry there is no sound, I suck at the thing called technology.

So while you are in the build/buy mode, click on the designing tool (paintbrush icon). Click on the object/wallpaper/flooring you wish to steal colour from. When the colours come up and load, click and hold thecolour you want to use. Drag it to the object you wish to change to said colour and let go of the mouse.

A side bar will pop up asking you what part of the object/wallpaper/flooring you wish to change. It
gives you the option of collapsing SIMilar colours, however you cannot collapse 2 of the same colour if they are the only two options to change. After clicking on which colour you wish to change (the object will preview it for you so keep your eye on the object to see if you
like it or not)

Click on the check mark and congratulations, you now have a new colour on your object/flooring/wallpaper.

As a side note, if you change one wallpaper (like in the video) the entire wall will not change (unlike if you use the designing tool on the wallpaper itself).

If this confuses you, you should try seeing into my mind... No seriously, if it confuses you please let me know and I will do my best to make it less confusing.

Please understand that I suck with technology and there for there is still no music with my video. Also note my computer is slow. Thank you.

Sorry the video is bad and some parts are seriously pointless. I was struggling with it and to top it off my realplayer wouldnt let me trim it.

Nice tutorial, I've already known that, and let my give you another idea:
you can drag and drop the full template by pulling the little dotted area beside the first pattern. This way you can easily recolour other items with the full colour/pattern theme.
The drag-and-drop also works with the colour-circles (channels) inside a pattern. So if you don't want to change the pattern, just want to use the same or similar colour on another kind of pattern on the same object, you can choose a colour-channel, and pull over the other pattern you'd like.
Also it works with other objects, so you can drag-and-drop the colour-channel on another objects you want to recolour with the same colour.
