Deleting Property

Post  Svengo42 on Thu May 19, 2011 11:15 pm

So i discovered this the other day when I was playing. Dont know how many of you know about it, so i figured i would share it with you.

Go into "Edit Town" mode. Click on the lot grid square option next to the bulldozer. Once youve clicked on that zoom into the empty lot you wish to delete (empty lot only). When a hand icon appears over it your able to pick it up. Click on it. Feel free to move it where ever you wish if its one of those lot sizes that you cant get or... hit the Del button once you have grabbed it. This will permanently delete the lot from your town.

NOTE WARNING: There is no undo option for this. Also some lots, once you pick them up, you cannot reset them back down where they once were. This does not apply for all lots, just some i was experimenting with. Also i discovered (maybe it was my game or maybe its just always) that you cannot delete all empty lots, just some. Experiment for yourself and enjoy.
